TENDERNESS

Privacy Policy

Updated October 13, 2026

1. Responsibility and scope

Emelyn Campos is responsible for Tenderness. For privacy matters, email emelynscampos@gmail.com. This policy covers the app and its institutional website.

2. Information processed

Depending on the features used, Tenderness processes account and authentication details; adult and child profiles; family relationships and permissions; routine, calendar, growth, appointment, and memory records; uploaded photos, videos, audio, and documents; and technical information needed for operation and security. Health information and documents may contain sensitive personal data.

3. Purposes

Information is used to authenticate access, organize records selected by families, store and retrieve files, create requested retrospectives, manage permissions, respond to support requests, and protect the service. Child records must only be entered by parents or authorized guardians.

4. Children and health information

The app is intended for responsible adults, not independent child accounts. Processing of children’s data must respect their best interests. Adults must provide the authorizations required for records they enter. Where consent is the applicable basis, it must be specific and may be withdrawn. Sensitive data is processed under applicable legal grounds.

5. Legal grounds

Depending on the purpose and nature of the information, processing may rely on providing the requested service, legal obligations, exercising legal rights, protecting the service where permitted, and consent where required. This policy does not replace any specific consent that must be obtained within the app.

6. Providers and sharing

The documented infrastructure uses Clerk for authentication and Cloudflare for processing and storage of records and files. If you select Google or Apple sign-in, those providers also participate in authentication under their own policies. RevenueCat processes purchase history and the account-linked user ID to manage Premium subscriptions and may use this information for purchase-related analytics; it is not used for tracking across apps or websites. Information may be processed by providers necessary to operate the service and disclosed where legally required. Family permissions determine other members’ access to records within the app.

7. International processing

Technology providers may process information outside Brazil. Where international transfers take place, the mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable law must be observed.

8. Retention and security

Once a deletion request has been verified and completed, active data associated with the account, including family records and files stored by Tenderness, is removed from the app systems. Recovery copies and technical logs kept by service providers may remain for those providers’ own retention cycles; Tenderness does not keep an additional copy or set a separate retention period for them. Retention may vary by provider plan and settings. Content exported, downloaded, or shared outside the app remains under the control of its recipient. Data may be retained when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Authentication and access controls protect access to records and files; no service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and account deletion

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, information about sharing, deletion, and other applicable rights, and withdraw consent. Email emelynscampos@gmail.com. To request account deletion, use the subject “Tenderness account deletion” and include your account email. We may verify your identity and family links before processing the request. If other members have shared data, Support may need to review the request to protect their records. Completion removes the active data described above; recovery copies and logs follow the providers’ retention cycles.

10. Website and changes

The institutional website has no account registration or form collecting family records. The hosting provider may process technical access data to deliver and protect these pages. This policy may change; its update date is shown on this page.
